A Timeless Welsh Castle Wedding
Some weddings just have a wonderfully relaxed feel from the very beginning, and Amy & Thomas' day at Craig y Nos Castle was exactly that. Surrounded by their favourite people and the beautiful Welsh countryside, they celebrated in a way that felt completely true to them—full of love, laughter, and plenty of unforgettable moments.
The morning was filled with excitement as everyone got ready, with lots of smiles, a few happy tears, and that growing anticipation before the ceremony. Craig y Nos Castle provided the perfect setting for them to say "I do", combining its historic charm with the stunning scenery that makes it such a special wedding venue.
After the ceremony, guests enjoyed catching up, celebrating together, and making the most of the gorgeous grounds while the newlyweds soaked in those first moments as husband and wife. We wandered around the castle for their portraits, taking our time and letting them simply enjoy being together. Those quiet moments away from the celebrations often become some of my favourite photographs from the day.
As the evening arrived, the celebrations really got going. There were heartfelt speeches that had everyone laughing one minute and reaching for the tissues the next, followed by a packed dance floor and the kind of atmosphere that makes you never want the day to end.
Amy & Thomas created a wedding that wasn't about perfection… it was about celebrating with the people they love most, and that's exactly what made it so special. It was an absolute pleasure to capture every laugh, every hug, and every little in-between moment that made their day uniquely theirs.
